Safety

The Club has various safety processes in place. These are sumarised following but please make yourself familiar with the MTYC Safety manual and other documents that can be downloaded from this page.

IMPORTANT: Before racing or cruising. The following forms must be submitted.

• A signed safety compliance declaration appropriate for the season - once at the start of the season (Racing or cruising).

*** New for the coming season is an online Cat 5/Cat 5N declaration.

You will be asked for an email address, the completed form will be emailed to you and race administration on completion

or

You can pause the form completion - saving what you have done - you will be sent a link to your email allowing you to then come back and complete the form (by clicking the link). Your saved form will be kept for 10 days.

• A contacts list for the skipper and crew (racing or cruising) for every event.

OPTIONAL (but recommmended): Before a race or cruise, complete a medical information form and give the copy to your nominated ON SHORE contact.
