The Melbourne Trailable Yacht Club is a family orientated sailing club that was formed on 28th of June 1973.
We are a friendly family club and organize our activities around that idea.

It is not necessary to own a boat to belong to the club, as we have numerous social activities and crew are always in demand.
CBTYR - Class Based Trailable Yacht Rating
The CBTYR is an initiative championed by MTYC. It allows harmonisation of the traditional CBH handicaps for established trailable classes with ORC handicaps for new or modified boats.
