Mixed fleet trailable racing relies on a fair handicapping system. This has traditionally been CBH. In 2019, Australian Sailing changed to a new CBH system that has lacked credibility. The CBTYR is an initiative championed by MTYC. It allows harmonisation of the traditional CBH handicaps for established trailable classes with ORC handicaps for new or modified boats.
