What is it

The Four Points Race is a race around the northern part of Port Phillip & open to all trailable yachts. This race will be the first leg of the 2026 season Australian Sailing Victorian Trailable Yacht Division's Travelers Series.

This Race is scheduled for 18th October 2025 with a "Re-Sail" date of 25th October 2025 if the race on the 18th is cancelled.

How to register and pay

All entrants to the event (skippers of yachts entering) must register for this event.

Non MTYC member payment can be made using the online shop - a link will be provided in the registration confirmation email. If you do not wish to pay online an EFTPOS machine will be available on the day. MTYC will absorb the processing fees if this option is taken.

If you or you crew are not an MTYC member you must have an Australian sailing number - this can be obtained by registering as a SailPass member using this website using the "New Member" / SailPass membership option. IMPORTANT: Register the SailPass membership for the race day and the "re sail" race day.

Once registered you will recieve an email directing you to the MTYC Shop to pay for your entry.

Race timetable

This event timetable spans the friday before the planned race day and up to and including a possible re-sail date. Any payments made will cover the registrant over this date range.

Early launching on the preceeding Friday of the planned race day and berthing over night at RMYS is possible. A separate application and payment to RMYS will be required. Cost for one night at RMYS will be $20
